Norfolk Visuals

Travel - October 12, 2014

Over the weekend, we headed up to Norwich for a visit! Took the morning train from London Liverpool Station to Norwich where we changed trains to get to Sheringham. Tickets cost about 20 pounds with the discount of the railcard. Upon reaching Sheringham, we hung around to get us some lunch and snacks before taking a cab (16 pounds) down to Cley
Super glad that the weather turned around when we reached Cley and the sky started to turn blue. Our luck with weathers have been really good!
This was the store that sells the same mugs and plates that Rose Bakery has. Jermz bought a mug from here. Everything was so beautifully made, but kind of pricey. After buying, we made our way to the windmill, it’s kind of the “attraction” here.

I have no words for the walk through the massive field of wildflowers, ponds, marshes and what not because it was really calming. So here are the visuals :

The ginger slice that cost 80p.

Looking at the coastline’s really therapeutic because it looks like it’s never ending and it just naturally blends into the horizon. The thing about Cley is that that’s hardly any tourist, the people strolling on the beach are mostly the locals.

It felt like such a tiring day. Probably because of the 3 hour train to and fro. We got back to London at midnight because the train we were supposed to get on got cancelled due to storm damage and we ended up shopping around in Tesco. (We bought an avocado, not sure what to say. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA).
