Day 10 in London

London - September 21, 2014

So, the day started with good brunch over at Leila’s Shop with Jerms, Yang Yu and Hsu Li. I love how quaint the cafe is! The food was very homely and yummy. Ordered the fried eggs with ham and some toast with jam to share.
Parted ways with the 2 of them and me and Jerms continued to wander around.

Stopped by a little shop that sells pretty rustic stuff and we both got ourselves a wooden spoon each for 1 pound. Love the packaging, love the cheap thrill.

Walked through Brick Lane to see if i could score any good finds from the set up stalls. There were loads of kitschy stuff and vintagey finds, but they were a tad pricey. However, i did end up getting a vintage camera strap from the stall and i bargained down the price. At least now i have a camera strap because i forgot to bring mine from Singapore.

Entered a chocolate shop and the smell in the shop was a therapeutic. It was like sniffing hot chocolate. LOVE IT. they sold little truffle balls and they looked so good. I might go back and get some one day.

Met up with Jerm’s friend, Shihui over at Old Street station and walked over to Victoria Miro for some design exhibition, only to realise that they are closed on Sundays D:
Headed off the proceeded to Trafalgar Square to view another Pop up exhibition.

Kaileidoscope Camera thingy.

Movable Homes on display

Ended the day buying donuts from St John’s pop up store in Selfridge, buying some Muji Stationery and pen holders, getting ginger and honey yogurt from M&S, and walking back to the tube station.
Oh what a lovely day.
