Here’s the last series of visuals from the trip to Cornwall. We drove by Dartmoor National Park on our way back to London and the view was absolutely breathtaking. Along the way i took down what went through my mind, so here’s it, the cornwall trip:

10am 

Off we go for a road trip! Cornwall with Dom, Mich and Alfi. Stopped over at M1LK for breakfast before heading off! Good coffee and we ordered the baked eggs and English muffin. Noms. 

2pm 

There was a jam along the way that’s why it took us longer than expected. Pretty excited and happy, can’t wait to reach the destination and start our activities! Oh look! Cows! Hmmm I feel kinda bad I can’t really offer to take over the wheel because i still am kinda scared of driving 🙁 but very thankful for Alfi that he’s been doing the driving 😌 the sky looks slightly overcast now, hopefully it’ll start clearing up! 

5pm 

Almost there!!! 🚗 

Michelle’s at the wheel now. 

The scenery along the way is so damn beautiful, vastly different from the city where everywhere is just humans and cars. The landscapes here remind me of teletubbies land where it’s just greenery, windmills and what nots. The clouds look really dense now and the sun’s shining so brightly! oyay, cows on both sides of the freeway. Do the burger joints at the service points get their beef from the cows that roam around here ?? 😂 seems like such a nice place to retire. I can live in a little hut and rear my own herd of cows and pigs. 🐮🐷

Sky’s so clear 😍✨Would be nice to just take strolls right now.

7pm

Starting up the barbecue and cooking up some pasta and mussels! Feels so different and definitely very homely.
Wah, this is pretty nice, chillin’ outside and eating our food and having conversations about random stuff. Ok, back to my food. OM NOM NOM.

Day 2 

830am

On our way to lizard’s point! More refreshed after taking a nap (it didn’t feel like I slept much). Hope the scenery will be breathtaking later, the weather forecast shows a full day of sun today ☀️☀️ 

1030am 

Drove into this small little lane and now the car’s trying to reverse out. Bumpy ride 🚗 cows, cows everywhere. Had 2 toasted crumpets for breakfast 

1pm 

Just finished viewing lizard point! Super windy, but the view was gorgeous!! Kinda similar to lulworth cove though. Heading off to the next stop now, St Ives! ✨

Explored a little bit of St Ives. Loads of people suntanning and what not. How do people even suntan in 17 degrees weather. Hahahah. 

7pm

Barbecue again for dinner! This time more successful and it’s so yummy!!!! Had ribs, curry, naan and Yorkshire pudding. But of course I had to fail at something again. The salmon and the ribs weren’t cooked properly -.- 

Badminton time!!!! But the shuttlecock quite lousy la, few hits then split open already. PFFT

Took a try at driving the car just within the parameters of our accommodation and it was so terrible. hahaha I’m such a fail heh. 🙈

10pm

Played blackjack with Monopoly money. 

3am

Alfi said the cabin was “dirty” and I couldn’t sleep the whole night 🙁 still trying to get some sleep but it seems impossible. WHY DID YOU MENTION IT ALFI.

Day 3

830am

Headed out to Dartmoor National park, but first, we’re stopping by McDonald’s for breakfast! 

Drove and stopped at various stops around Dartmoor national park! Got to hang out with horses up close. Some were really pretty! 😍 but I think the highlight was the vast landscape. It was nice just being in the moment. 

4.30pm

On the way back to London! 1 more hour to go! 

What a great trip though! Short but fulfilling. And it was awesome of Alfi to cover most of the driving, and Dom to help with the navigating! I have no idea how i contributed, i’m so terrible. HAHA
