There’s something about flowers

I always feel like flowers brings a certain kind of warmth to a home. It’s the welcoming feeling you get when you walk through the door and there’s a vase of fresh flowers on the table top. It definitely lifts the mood and make any room or house more vibrant. Sadly, the current weather now isn’t too conducive for hydrangeas to stay alive for long, so it’s actually wilting slowly as days goes by. But good enough, the lavender and baby breath stems are going strong.

Fresh flowers don’t necessarily go cheap, but it sure is heartwarming to receive them. It doesn’t have to be a huge lavish bouquet because that’s just a waste of money and if you really want huge bouquets, it’s economically smarter to grow your own garden of them. But i think receiving a stalk or two once in awhile for no other reason than “just because” or “i thought of you, and i want you to know” is kinda nice.
