Lounging in autumn

Everyday - October 9, 2016

HOLA! It’s been a long while since I’ve posted anything here. I’m back in London already, and I’m so glad to say that autumn / winter is here and all I want to do is light up candles in the living room and lounge on the couch in comfy knits. School has started and it’s been a busy week! But I did take some time out to get some reading done, and currently, I’m reading “Quiet Power” by Susan Cain, gifted by Mich over the summer break.

Since it’s autumn, the Jo Malone perfume gifted to me by the girls for my birthday is definitely my go-to scent for the season. I’m not feeling so much of floral, sweet notes, but I find myself reaching for the woodier scent almost everyday.

Also, subtle nude / cream tones screams autumn and fall. As much as I love the darker tones like forest greens and burgundy maroons, muted tones of nude and cream are my fail safe outfit choices. Seriously speaking though, pretty happy that I snagged this pair of trainers when they first came out on ASOS. It was super affordable and quite a good dupe for the higher end nude blush trainers by some other brands. (maybe when I’ve got the money some day, i’d invest in a pair), but for now, this works and I’ve received compliments for it even when walking on the streets!
